Sense of detail and service of a Palace combined with a warm and family atmosphere.
Les Sources de Caudalie, located among the vineyards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a Graves great growth, was established in 1999. The concept behind Les Sources de Caudalie is inspired by the "French Paradox", discovered over 20 years ago. It refers to a study proving that the French diet and lifestyle, particularly in Southwest France, is conducive to good health. Between vineyards and forests, at only 20 minutes from Bordeaux center, the architect Yves Collet created from scratch contemporary buildings from recycled local materials in tune with the surroundings.
Alice and Jérôme Tourbier have managed Les Sources de Caudalie for the past ten years in keeping with the values they hold dear: well-being, generosity, authenticity, high-quality service, and emotion. Welcome to a universe where everything is devoted to nature, taste and senses.

There was already the mythic « Ile aux Oiseaux » (Bird Island), reminiscent of the cabanes tchanquées (cabins on stilts) in the Arcachon Bay. This room overlooking the pond of Les Sources de Caudalie promises a complete change of scenery thanks to its charming terrace on stilts outside, and to its ultra-modern décor inside. Entirely redecorated by the young French fashion designer Maxime Simoëns, the suite has an unexpectedly avant-garde atmosphere combining graphics and architecture. The Ile aux Oiseaux suite proposes a refuge of 50m ² to the lovers of nature and the uncluttered design.
There is now the « Village des Pêcheurs" (Fishermen's village), which gathers 12 suites on stilts around a small lake, and evokes the oyster-farms of the Arcachon Bay. Jane de Boy, Mimbeau, Le Canon… the rooms are named after the villages of Cap Ferret, and offer 65m² of pure rapture. Inside, we find the "buco-chic" atmosphere that permeates Les Sources de Caudalie. The luxuriant wallpapers are enhanced by whitewashed panels, creating a lovely intimate atmosphere. The walls are decorated with a delightful jumble of photos, witch's mirrors, and butterfly collections that give each suite its own particular feel and a family ambiance.
The Suites are all equipped with a bathroom with tub and shower, individual climate control, cable TV, wireless internet access, mini bar, safe and hairdryer.
The charming new setting for Les Sources de Caudalie. The superb decor of Château Le Thil, a historic country house built in 1737 and set just a mile from Les Sources de Caudalie, is the epitome of refinement and authenticity.
The design of the nine rooms and the two suites retain the "buco-chic" touch of the owner's signature interior design. In each of the rooms, styles blend and contrast: Jaune Soleil or Rouge Merlot; Retour des Indes or Lascaux... their names evoke their atmosphere, full of surprises and contrast, antique furniture and the odd daring print.
Whilst designed for pure relaxation, the salons can also be taken together for private use - for family gatherings, celebrations or professional events. The rooms open onto each other to create an impressive space, over 100sqm, ideal for special occasions – and where NicolasMasse, Executive Chef of Les Sources de Caudalie, can create delicious lunches and gourmet dinners.
The enchanting gardens are shaded by ancient trees.
The breakfast is served table d'hôte style and the restaurants of Les Sources de Caudalie, as well as the Caudalie spa, will be pleased to welcome you.
The reception of Les Sources de Caudalie is at your disposal to organize your excursions or for any specific request.
